The perspective of modern industry nowadays requires finding productive formulae that are highly sustainable and environmentally friendly. The final manufactured product should be innovative, high quality, offer a good performance and comply with all the applicable regulations.

PROCERAN is part of the Spanish ceramic industry, which has developed immensely over the last fifteen years. Our aim is to offer solutions to a demanding market in terms of quality, placing on site, production costs, transport, etc. These demands and the respect for safety at work and environmental quality are the reasons why modern companies have a Research, Development and Innovation Department.

PROCERAN has contributed to research, development and innovation in fields like material engineering or the development of research projects with work teams in universities and private companies. These projects focus on improving quality improvement, managing raw material and optimising the Termoarcilla block design, which includes improving thermal and sound insulation, mechanical properties, etc.

Research in Manufacturing Technology is also one of the most important research projects or challenges that PROCERAN carries out. The aim is to achieve a top-quality production process, which is safe for workers and environmentally friendly.
