THE TERMOARCILLA® BLOCK AS PART OF A CONSTRUCTIVE SYSTEM:

 

Technically speaking, the Termoarcilla® block is a ceramic product, which complies with all the quality requirements for blocks of light-weight clay. It has all the additional parts required for a correct placing on site.

 

According to the definition by the Termoarcilla® Consortium, the Termoarcilla® block is a low density ceramic block. The properties of this ceramic material and a carefully studied cell-based geometry on multiple cells give the product extraordinary features: great mechanical performance and appropriate thermal and sound insulation, which allow the use of monolithic walls instead of the typical multilayer wall.

 

The Termoarcilla® block can also be defined like a system made up of coated sheets of Termoarcilla® light-weight clay blocks, with vertical perforations and tongue and groove joint, placed in bed joints and perpend joints.
